About

Therapy is like crossing a bridge. It supports you as you move from where you are now toward a more grounded and resilient self. There is no destination where everything is magically fixed. Therapy is not about perfection or optimizing yourself to meet external demands. 

 

My work is best suited for those who not only want to reduce anxiety, depression, or trauma responses, but also understand themselves and the world more honestly. Therapy is about making peace with yourself, recognizing the patterns and survival strategies that have gotten you through life, and building a self that honors both your limits and your strengths.

 

At its deepest level, therapy is about facing vulnerability, sitting with uncertainty, tolerating discomfort and disappointment, while also making room for laughter, play, and the unexpected joys of life. It is a space to explore your inner world, how you relate to others, and how you want to show up in the world. It is also a place to understand how your past shapes your present and to decide how you want to live in a world that offers no guarantees, no final arrivals, and no promised Shangri-La.  The goal is to build a self that can hold life's complexity without collapse, one that you can rely on.
